Sales Tax varies from store to store, depending on each store's location.
- You will not find the sales tax rate on the receipt, so you can either:
- Do the math and backtrack to find the sales tax (We do NOT recommend this method, as some of the purchases may be non-taxable!)
- Find the store location (a.k.a. the zip code), go to the state's website, and find out the sales tax rate in that location
After you have the sales tax rate for that store number, enter your sales tax (the format is plain numbers—if the sales tax is 7%, then you just enter "7.0")
Lucky for you, we put together a list of Home Depot store numbers and their respective sales tax rates by state!
(All the linking and mapping will be saved for future imports.)
