Map Your Materials

Your products are mapped with a variety of fields; make sure each field is appropriate for each product.

  • Name: Populates based on the selection you made in the previous step.
  • SKU Description: Populates from the data you uploaded.
  • Select Product Name
    • Map your existing QuickBooks products
      • When you want to use the same Product for all of the rows:
        1. Select the Product Name on the first row and then check the box titled "Use same product for all".
    • Or create one in QuickBooks and click "Sync" in HammerZen
      • When you want to use the same Product for all of the rows:
        1. Select the Product Name on the first row and then check the box titled "Use same product for all".
    • Or create new ones right in HammerZen for each row
      • Select the appropriate choice for each field when creating a new product in HammerZen:
        • Product Type: Select only if you are creating new products. Choose from Inventory, Non-inventory, or Service.
        • Income Account: Select from the drop-down menu.
        • Asset Account: Only available if you are entering the Product Type as Inventory.
        • Expense Account: Select from the drop-down menu.

Click "Next."

(If you do not have any options to select from the drop-down menu, log in to QuickBooks and enter the account name. Afterward, go back to the HammerZen app, and click "No selection? Press sync." in the top right to sync the data.)

(All the linking and mapping will be saved for future imports.)
