Add a Class in QuickBooks Online

You can add classes and sub-classes to easily track your income and expenses in accordance with jobs and purchases in QuickBooks Online.

You also have the ability to view Profit & Loss statements and Balance Sheets by class and sub-class reports.

To add a class to the QBO account:

  1. Click Settings wheel on the top right corner
  2. Click All Lists
  3. Click Classes
  4. Enter the Name and click Save

To add a Sub-class follow the steps above and on step 4 click on the box Sub-class and click on Save.


 

To add a Sub-class to the QBO account:

  1. Click on the Settings wheel on the top right corner
  2. Click All Lists
  3. Click Classes
  4. Enter the Name
  5. Click on the box below Sub-class and select Class from the drop down
  6. Click Save
