Classify, Verify, and Post

Congratulations! You've made it to the last step. Now all you need to do is classify and verify your fields.

  • Product Name: Select the Product Name that relates to the purchase. 
    • If you cannot find a product name, go into QuickBooks and create a new Product name, then click "Sync" in HammerZen.
    • When you want to use the same Product for all of the rows, select the Product Name on the first row and then check the box titled "Use same Product Name".
  • Split: You can split a line item into its Customer and Class by Quantity ("Qty"), Unit Price, and Mark Billable
  • Customer: Auto-populates from the "Map Your Customers" step. You have the option to change as needed.
  • Billable: You only need to check this box if you are using the Billable feature for time and material.
    • If you want all the rows to be billable, then simply check the box at the top that says "All billable?"
  • Class: Add a class from the drop-down menu.
    • If you want all the rows to have the same Class, then simply check the box at the top that says "Use same class"
    • This field is not mandatory!

Click on "Post to QuickBooks." Your purchases have been seamlessly imported into QuickBooks!

Check the QuickBooks reports to ensure that all the information is accurate.

(If you do not have any options to select from the drop-down menu, log in to QuickBooks and enter the account name. Afterward, go back to the HammerZen app, and click "No selection? Press sync." in the top right to sync the data.)



(Everything linked and mapped will be saved for future imports.)

The following changes and updates will not be saved for future reference:
  • Billable
  • Class
